Tuition Subjects for Key Stage 3 - Ages 11 to 14 Science

Key Stage 3 is the first three years of secondary education. During those three years, students set the pace for work at GCSE level, so they are an important part of academic life that often get overlooked.

Our classes for Key Stage 3 are designed to ensure that students grasp the new topics they are learning and to help build their confidence and fill in any gaps or weaknesses in their knowledge. Some students in Key Stage 3 may also be working towards the 13 plus exams.

For our Key Stage 3 pupils, we provide:

  • In-centre assessments to check levels and progress
  • Weekly personalised lessons in mathematics, English or a mixture of both
  • Online one-to-one classes
  • 13 Plus lessons

The new national curriculum for Key Stage 3 is designed to help children progress beyond the knowledge they acquired in primary school and build foundations ready for GCSE. All of our classes are national curriculum based so we can provide as much support as we can with your child’s schoolwork.

When I first started my first Math’s test I remember I used to get in the tens in Math’s. But then when I had more lessons with Persuade I got better at all subjects of Math’s. I find most of the subjects easy now in the Math’s and I am now extremely good in verbal reasoning. I really loved having my lessons at expert tutors and also getting ice creams in some of our lessons too. Thank you so much Persuade for teaching me.

When I first started having lessons I was alright at Math’s and not so good at English. Then as the lessons continued Miss Ziki taught me that even if you struggle never give up. I am very happy with what I have learnt. I wouldn’t have been able to do anything that I can do now. I thought the lesson was hard at first. But then everything got easier as I had more and more lessons. Miss Ziki is the best, she has helped me so much and Math’s and English have become so much easier. Even though she got frustrated at me (and my spellings) she is the best tutor anyone can ask for.

When I first started tuition with Ms Ziki I was ok at Math’s and not so go at English and after my first lesson I still though I wasn’t going to pass my 11 plus until I had more lessons and that’s when I got much better at my subjects and also learnt some new ones as well. At first I did not know what I was doing but Miss Ziki helped me on the way. I have improved so much and learnt new things. Ms Ziki has taught me so much. Having Ms Ziki as a tutor was the best. I learnt perimeters, area, formal and informal letters and so much more. At first I was rubbish at it all but because of Miss Ziki, she helped me on the way and I know it all. I got confused with Perimeter and area because it was just hard until Ms Ziki talked me through it and I got the hang of it. Now that I passed my 11 plus I feel like I can do anything. Thank you so much.

I just wanted to say a really big thank you to you for being James tutor. I was struggling as you know with James being a single mom with a very bright child who was lazy!! (Trying had to get out of everything) You came along, James was a challenge as he always thought he could get away with doing things in an easier way, you recognised his potential and boy did you help. I am so grateful, you really care, your dedication is admirable, and we would lose without you. I would not hesitate to recommend you. If anybody wants to speak they can call me. My son not only passed his 11 plus but got one of the highest marks way to go James …. and Persuade.
